Eligibility Criteria

  • MSc/BS-MS/Integrated BS-MS in Science with minimum 55% (50% SC/ST)
  • BTech/BPharm with minimum 60% (55% SC/ST) eligible for selected subjects
  • Candidates in final year can apply
  • Age for JRF: 28 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women)

Exam Pattern

Single paper — 3 hours, 200 marks. Part A: 30 General Aptitude questions. Part B: Subject-specific MCQs. Part C: Higher value analytical questions. Negative marking for wrong answers.

5 Subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences
